My name is Don Genova, and I am a journalist who specializes in writing and broadcasting about food and travel.
It all started at a 5,000 watt radio station in Terrace, BC. No, seriously! My first job in radio was with a private radio station in Terrace in 1983. Since then I’ve been a journalist in print, radio, television and the internet, all over Canada. In 1997 I started to specialize in covering the food and travel scene in Canada and abroad.
Until the end of 2007, I am living in Colorno, Italy, near Parma. (yeah, home of Parmesan cheese and Parma ham) I am studying for a Masters of Food Culture at the University of Gastronomic Sciences, and my blog, in part, will be a reflection of my adventures here in Italy and some other gastronomic hot spots of Europe.
